"Christmas [----] Westinghouse C9 Multi Color Painted Incandescent Lights A string of Westinghouse branded C9 incandescent Christmas lights. Aside from the bulb lifespan (if the box's claims are true) these are very average lights worked up to be something extra ordinary. The majority of the 'features' listed have been standard on even the cheapest sets for decades. I have no idea where these were sold. Based on the UL tag and the graphics on the box I'd put them somewhere around the late 90s/early 2000s. This was an expensive set if that's the case. The appearance is satisfactory but perhaps"

"Christmas [----] Interesting LED String Light Failure Mode A section of lights on the lighted nativity scene went out. Troubleshooting of the set lead me to this bulb on the string. When I removed the bulb one of the lead wires fell off. Upon further inspection I discovered the lead wires of the LED are very rusted and corroded. What's interesting about this failure is that the corrosion didn't take place where the leads meet the contacts like I would have expected but rather the entire area that wasn't touching the contacts. The majority of these strings are not properly water-tight. This one"

"Ceiling Fan Wattage Limiter vs. [---] Watts Incandescent Bulb Testing a ceiling fan wattage limiter with a few different types of incandescent light bulbs including a [---] watts incandescent bulb to see how the behavior varies.
