"Ive been holding $Qubic for a long time. I always thought $QCAP (and the other shares) would maybe be a little "complicated" to buy and never really bothered to learn about it. "Right. Qubics 200T cap is not like Bitcoins 21M cap. In Bitcoin burned coins are gone forever and cant be replaced like you said. In Qubic emissions can only continue as long as the live supply is under 200T. So burning actually helps keep emission going without inflating past the max. I guess this is probably a unique feature for Qubic. Im no expert on this. I guess most others are doing it like Bitcoin (gone forever and cant be replaced) or no max supply at all π€·π»β Qubics (yearly) halvings slows down the emissions of new coins.
