"Didnt quite get what was misleading here. The post said the XX% amount would remain locked in for your entire career until you retire. And the clarification It confirms withdrawal is allowed only under a few conditions: Retirement after attaining XX years of service you mean retirement. Permanent disability retirement just not by choice. Retrenchment forced retirement. Voluntary retirement still retirement. Leaving India permanently retirement from working in India. Also would request a fact check as to whether or not the Rules meant to "simplify withdrawals" somehow make withdrawing your own"
