"Hi Kathleen I agree it is none of the US's business but in support of the Visa and MC duopoly the US is prepared to jump in and declare unfair practices. The irony of this is that rather than learning from Brazil's PIX and finding out how they built a revolutionary payment system the US simply seeks to shut it down. Note also the Anti-CBDC Act not only did they ban a CBDC but outlawed the research. This lack of intellectual freedom and curiosity is very saddening"
