"Also interesting to consider that once a certain threshold of liquidity and compliance comfort has been met equity analysts will be forced to trade these instruments on weekends. Now when a new piece of information or alt data becomes known on weekends you have a fiduciary duty to hedge your risk or use that data to express a view on these products trading 24/7. If the perpetual swap trading on a weekend is your only option it no longer becomes a choice to engage with the product it is your job to do so"
