"Jerry Mack. Kennesaw State wasnt even terribly successful as an FCS program and their FBS move could only be explained by a vague hand wave at the state of Georgia and its overall football culture. Last year the product on the field really showed it. Mack took a program with virtually no success as a Division X program and won an FBS conference in his first year with the team and the schools second year in FBS. Clark Lea Tony Elliott and Joey McGuire all had really great seasons at non-traditional winners. But nobody did what Mack did"
