"I don't believe so no. I didn't do a single thing for IP/Story Protocol. I have $XXX of $IP that I was able to claim. I didn't do shit for Monad I have $MON to claim or will be airdropped to me. I gave both protocols nothing and was given something. Hyperliquid users gave fees to Hyperliquid team and were given tokens in return so I think a distinction is worthwhile"

"Tbh whether it's HLP or insurance fund its functionally the same outcome for my problem take. Something that would/could have been a cost to the foundation was supplemented by platform fees. That makes it different from other instances (like $IP) where tokens are literally just given to people for existing before a product is live. Both airdrops Sure. Just think there are nuances there. HL's approach was based/the correct one and think others should do more of it"

"It's honestly not too far off from my comments on UNI network effects. Feels like the meme industrial complex is just propped up under PUMP and therefore most stuff will just flow through it. Combined with their increasing attempts to verticalize (launchpaddexcommunity/chatwallet) it just feels like they'll work closer to a superapp because they have the ability to push for it (revenue) and things to deploy like an airdrop to incentivize the user behavior changes.
