"It is vanishingly unlikely that anyone will receive refunds before the end of 2025. For context FTX collapsed in 2022. It was only in 2024 that it was announced that victims would be reimbursed. Payouts began finally in September 2025. Similarly BlockFi went down in 2022. Payouts started in 2024. While I don't anticipate that this will take that long I mention this to give you an idea of the amount of time and work that needs to go into something like this. It's a huge task and it's not going to be quick or easy. We will continue to give updates as we move forward but we can't estimate how"

There are hundreds or maybe even thousands of victims and many many millions of dollars at stake. Assets other than XDC also appear to have been offloaded on Bitrue. I can provide more information about that over email or DM. I should add that law enforcement action will likely occur at some point in the future and Bitrue was notified here and elsewhere by many victims of the misappropriation"
