"Going to a ski town this past weekend legit taught me something about SaaS. I went to Mammoth which is mostly a ski town. Which means its extremely seasonal. People flood it during the winter. Tad during the summer. And thats it. Bc of this the restaurants in Mammoth suck. And yet they are consistently packed. The bar is really low bc the seasonality prunes competitors and scares away new ones. The thing is seasonal software is the same. A lot of compliance businesses including mine are like this. Its hard to survive but people need it. So most of the businesses suck just like the restaurants"
