"Reddit appears to understand Consensus Building Spam (what most refer to as "AI Optimization" or "GEO") and is actively shadow banning accounts for it. This one begged and pleaded via modmail for an SEO subreddit I mod to let them spam about a no name SMB payment system. Not only does their username start with "Only-Ad" but Reddit also uses an LLM to summarize the user's post history which clearly shows the exact opposite of what the user claims. Bravo to @Reddit's security team and shoutout to Steve for tackling this spam issue so quickly (though more work needs to be done)"
