"On all of the recent debt restructuring I have yet to see one with a better rate. All of them have had increased rate. Im not sure why this narrative keeps going around that the restructurings are giving AMC better rates. That is simply not the case. I track publish and forecast the rates and interest expense from the filings qtrly so I am 100% on this analysis. Secondary evidence of that is that the quarterly interest expense continues to go up despite the balance of debt being decreased. But moving the maturities does derisk the balance sheet and is critical to buy more time for box office"
