"DAILY PRO ATHLETE story today and HOW IT RELATES to STOCKS. I once walked into one of the most PRESTIGIOUS bike stores in America. Fairwheel Bikes in TUCSON AZ. I needed some maintenance. While there the PRO BIKE MECHANICS MOCKED me for riding 165mm cranks. My inseam is XXXXX in case anyone needs to know. I had a polite argument with them but they wouldn't listen. Never mind at the TIME I had the 3rd FASTEST IRONMAN bike split in the world. Complete arrogance coming from $XX / hr bike mechanics. FAST FORWARD and NOW today everyone in the Tour du France rides 165mm (as opposed to 175MM) $PTLR"

"Went out to dinner last night in Denver. Started chatting up the table next to us. XX year old accountant and his grandfather. XX year is XX% invested in $PLTR so told him to cut XX% of it and roll it into $ELV since his health insurer is Blue Cross Blue Shield. That way it is a hedge on his health care. Told him to contact me in XX years I think he does well with it. Told him Elevance likely to be a X bagger. Palantir likely to be no higher than it is today"

"Stocks DON'T MOVE in STRIAGHT LINEs. $DG was an example of a STOCK I bought in a cascading falling pattern. Someone here blasted me for it despite being a perennial winner. I MADE life changing money on $DG. The key I was PLAYING for bounces. From $XXX = $XXX From $XX = $XXX The key thing for me was layering in to the stock selling calls or overwriting calls OTM AND most importantly NOT oversizing the position Selling puts to INCREASE my position size. I don't do this in stocks THAT aren't perennial winners $UNH will have a bounce to $XXX. I can guarantee it NFA 🤣"

"$UNH post regarding Elevance earnings in the morning. Have to assume that the expectations going in to the ER are pretty low already thanks to UNH CNC. $XXX strike is still crucial for UNH for 7/18. Decaying options deltas can act like a beach ball and float $UNH to the $XXX level. However given elevated risks at crucial spot ($290 support + $ELV earnings) I think switching positions from a full 1-delta (Ie. your shares) to ATM options is a very good risk mitigation tool"
