"While several of the global in #golf are in India collecting appearance fees this week err I mean growing the game - it reminds me: The funny part about the divide in golf the last few years is the bureaucrats continue to out themselves. They continue to make the game about profitability when pro golf has (historically) never really been about that. Thats been secondary or tertiary. Its part of the reason pro golf lost its way - WAY before LIV came around. Its always had rich benefactors funding/sponsoring events players etc for entertainment purposes - and bringing attention to their events"
