"In the recent Dunedin City Council elections Andrew Simms was the highest polling councillor to be elected. Despite X new councillors being elected none of the other candidates from Andrew Simms' "Future Dunedin" ticket were elected Bruce Ranga has enough votes in the preliminary counting but missed out in the final vote count. Future Dunedin candidate Dr Amy Taylor gave some notably bad advice in a Facebook post suggesting that despite their being XX councillor positions in this STV election people should only vote for X or X candidates if this was too overwhelming"
