"On this day [--] years ago the NWS out of NOLA released the most bone chilling doomsday forecast and I have a pretty hot take on it. This is some extremely strong language for a what would be category [--] landfall. The forecaster focused solely on the wind when it was actually the water that caused the bulk of the damage. IMO had the levees not failed miserably this would go down as one of the biggest forecasting blunders in history.
