The soothing treatment baths have reduced her skin irritation and the analgestic/anti inflammatory drugs I am giving her have worked wonders on her poor swollen face. "Tonga remains very much the same so incredibly weak. This film is speeded up X16 and spans almost an hour because he moves so incredibly slowly. The poor darling boy is too weak to hold his head up for long and has to keep resting it on the edge of the dish. Although Tonga is now managing to get up twice throughout the night to eat a mouthful of food and drink a little it's not enough to keep him alive so I'm still giving him fluids via subcutaneous injection. "This poor darling girl is Wallis mum to her boys Solomon and Marshall (see previous X posts). Although older so more fortitude to withstand deprivation her mange-bared skin is sore and her eyes swollen to slits. She also has deadly lungworm. This dear little family teetering on the brink of disaster are safe now. The first of many treatments started today to ease their discomfort and reduce their symptoms"

This is her after her last treatment bath and that light of hope and curiosity which had been extinquished from her eyes by misery and pain was starting to shine bright again.
