"No hard rules just rely on experience and discretion. The first one was a stop out so the second one will have a shorter leash. Either the bias is right or its not I'm not interested in sitting around taking multiple losses just to have it be right "eventually". If price starts to look choppy than its probably time to consider getting out or being more protective"

"$NQ 7/23/2025 Trades #1 & #2 -1R Gave the IB Low break two attempts here and its just not happening. Took a -1R and break even. Monday and Tuesday were very similar with the large AM move and then price chopping inside that range for the rest of the day. Today is setting up to be the same. Unless something very clean and obvious forms I'll be done for the day here"

"$NQ 7/17/2025 Trade #3 Break Even This was a nice setup with Daily H4 and H1 all hitting +0.5 distribution at the same time however as price moved down consolidation formed and $ES made a new hourly high. The anticipation than shifted to NQ making a new high in segment X instead of new low in segment X. The anticipation based on historical data is that segment X will be the high/low whatever is opposite of segment X. So as price forms anticipate that"
