"Highway XXX Northeast of Calgary C/2025 A6 Lemmon 20251007T1100Z Single images of Comet Lemmon the first with a Samyang 135mm Nikon D850 ISO 3200 F2.8 for XX seconds the second image is with the Takahashi FSQ-106N F4.5 riding on a Skywatcher EQ-5 with a Nikon D810 ISO 3200 XX seconds. Neither of the images are cropped conditions were poor hazy skies with clouds and the aurora was out as well. The comet was not naked eye visible due to the conditions it was however visible in my Nikon 7X26 binoculars as a pale blue dot #C2025A6 #Lemmon"

"@haozhou332022 @landon_wx @JAtanackov @HaelVoort @Vincent_Ledvina But it's also a strong case for the CIR from CH HSS(CH 87) as it turned central meridian several days ago and the stream usually takes 2-4 days to reach us. So in my opinion it is a mix of CH HSS and CME"

"@randymilanovic @AlbertaAurora Yes I got pretty lucky. This is at XX mm the comet is to the right of the bottom of the pillars"

"An XX mm is the smallest lens that I would use I have tried the 50mm but the comet is hard to make out. But remember the larger the lens the less time that you can shoot i.e. rule of XXX divide the focal length by XXX to get your max seconds to hold the shutter open. this rule no longer applies to newer camera's"

"For those who are wondering where Comet C/2025 A6 Lemmon will be tonight here is a nice image for you to follow look for the comet right after it gets dark it begins to lose altitude as the night progresses making it more difficult to find. Binoculars will help immensely so use them if you have them. We practice something called star hopping in the astronomy world. In this case find the last star in the handle of the Big Dipper (Alkaid) and drop the binocular view straight down until you see Cor Caroli. C/2025A6 will be a fuzzy bluish ball with a averted vision tail. Averted vision is looking"

"Jumping Pound Alberta 20251015T0300-0430Z 1st image Comet C/2025 R2 SWAN 2nd image C/2025 A6 Lemmon 3/4th image the Aurora Borealis Astrophotograhy nights don't get much better that tonight X comets and the aurora. I was taking down my set up when i noticed the low horizon green band I didn't think much of it until I packed up and thought what the hell. and checked the GOES Magnetometer. Sure enough a substorm was building so I decided to set up the camera to see if I would get anything no sooner than after I set up the aurora started up. #Aurora #Auroraborealis #northernlights @AlbertaAurora"

"Rockyford Alberta 20251016T0230Z Comet C/2025 R2 SWAN shares the night sky with Epsilon Serpentis. This image was taken just as the cloud front started to pass over me. In some ways the wispy clouds actually enhance the comet. Single image taken with the Takahashi FSQ-106N F4.5 with a Nikon D850 set at ISO4000 XX seconds. In my opinion this is a very beautiful comet just something about it that makes me really like it. #C2025R2 #SWAN @JAtanackov @randymilanovic @RMcDonaldPhotos @chunder10 @doktornihil @rjayroldan @CalgaryRASC"

"Rockyford Alberta 20251016T0830Z Comet C/2025 A6 Lemmon shares the night sky with the Aurora Borealis. "Comet C/2025 R2 SWAN is in the Southwest in the constellation Scutum a nebula rich area of our galaxy Comet C/2025 A6 Lemmon is in the Canes Venatici constellation under Ursa Major. A great app for our galaxy is Stellarium mobile the app is free and in my opinion the best. The images that you see here are from a planetarium program called Redshift X it's a paid for program. @StellariumLabs"

"I am thinking that @Vincent_Ledvina might come up with an aurora app it's logical that he would he may have a substorm alert developed already Vincent was where I learned about watching the GOES Magnetometer for substorms and although it doesn't work XXX% of the time it's been my best way of catching the obscure auroral shows like last night. This is comet C/2025 A6 Lemmon at around 20251016T0830Z"
