I have been looking at a lot of people's work on their models & it does actually inspire me to try new & different things. I am starting to pick up things to customize my kits like paints & accessories. I am going to try acrylic painting 1st then maybe next year pick up a portable Airbrush kit & station.but the space is my biggest issue. I wish I could monetize my Youtube channel & get sponsorships so I can rent a little studio to work in but the cheapest I have found is like 500$ a month. I hear some guys make that in a video"

"I tried using Tamiya thinner on Tamiya acrylic Metallic paint the metallic flakes just separated completely from the pigment. I then switched to just painting from the jar. So am I NOT supposed to thin metallic paints 1st pic is with the thinner & 2nd is without any thinning. Both are X layers. I think X is enough for this the blue is dark (no primer btw)"

"Question for experienced Gunpla hobbyists: I was told & even the instructions on the panel liner to use the X-20 acrylic paint thinner. It does not work. What am I doing wrong: I shook the bottle dipped a Qtip in wiped the excess thinner then I dabbed & rubbed the panel line ink but it hardly did anything. I tried applying more pressure nothing. I ended up using my Gundam eraser marker that did a decent job. Thanks #gunpla"

"So I started assembling the MGSD Freedom Gundam & it looks pretty cool so far. With each new kit I try something different. With this one I'm going a bit of a custom look. All the red & blue parts will be painted with metallic markers. All the yellow parts will be Gold. Certain grey or white parts will be painted chrome silver. Look at that silver fin it's so reflective. I'm using both Gundam metallic markers which are great but for the gold & chrome silver I'm using Let's Resin markers they are amazing. Look at the last picture to see the side by side before & after comparison. #gundam"
