"In July I converted my eth into sol and staked nearly all of it. Sol has been obviously underperforming Eth since then but I also get much higher returns on staked sol than staked eth. It is a gamble I have regretted at times but looking at the long term compounding with the higher return on staking I still think it was the right decision. I still believe long term that sol will tremendously outperform eth and building up that base now will lead to a big payday. Even if both stay exactly where they are now the staked sol will be worth more than the staked eth in X years because of compounding"
