"Why this happened (explained simply): Sleep8 relies particularly on: AWS IoT (connects & manages billions of devices to the cloud) AWS Lambda + API Gateway (process user commands like incline or temperature adjusting) The outage hit those regional endpoints (that connects Sleep8 to AWS) causing requests to timeout leaving beds stuck in their last received state. Meaning if you were raising your bed to watch Netflix you'll will be sleeping in that position until the API wakes up to process your request to lower it"
