"I'd gained 10lbs a year for X years (oddly enough right around Christmas) and gotten so heavy it was getting tough to get around. I'd done keto many times with only fair results so went carnivore and lost 40lbs in X months. Sadly I plateaued again even on carnivore but the weight has not returned even 6mos later"

"Hm. I'm torn on this one just a bit. I'm Alaskan so I'm all for hunting fishing gardening and all manner of subsistence living. We do have regulations (lots and lots of regulations) on how much where and how we may subsist. I wonder if these people even know there are rules. They may just be thinking "Why is no one else smart and proactive enough to simply hunt" The answer Fine and boot them out of course but I can't fault them for working for their dinner.
