"I think it works if you know where to look. It's not uncommon for great MLB players to be relatively unknown signings out of the international ranks. The thing is that you NEED to be a great scouting group; otherwise you're just finding players for the sake of finding players. I believe this is a change in their approach since many of their big-time international signings haven't worked out in previous classes. Also they've been very hesitant to invest money into pitching on their international side. Don't know why they do that 🤷♂"
