But what Im trying to understand is if inflation more or less always stabilizes at 2-3% then why doesnt that reflect consumer goods & services. Look at McDonalds Big Mac in 1992 priced around XXXX with inflation around 3%. Today that same Big Mac is $5-7 and inflation is even lower today at 2.67%. If we go back further to 1970s Big Mac was around .65 cents and inflation then was even higher 5%+ Do these numbers"
