"I am not aware of this maybe some "science based" people have found their niche being low volume. I'd say the evidence leans toward starting at "x" volume then adding more over time. Then once you reach a peak of sustainable volume then you would likely benefit from offsetting that fatigue and entering lower volume blocks"
