"The short selling base on this market is so huge and every stock I trade has tens of millions of shares sold short. You can see the desperation as everyday they hit bids trying to cascade the stocks and defend prices so they don't get more margin calls. And then eventually all hell breaks loose as there isn't natural sellers in so many of these stock there are only shortsellers pretending there are sellers $laws is a good example today -- tomorrow it will be $X 1/2 and the only difference will be the short interest went up a few million shares and the bearish bets keep getting worse"
