"The chat window is a great UI to start a conversation with AI. But it's terrible for continuing one. Once you've exchanged a few messages you basically have a wall of text. Yes having an artifact or canvas on the side helps. Yet it doesn't solve the key issue here: once the conversation is established you need a simple way to keep it going. A way that makes the entire process steerable and refinable. Not just having more prompts. Your product needs to know when to stop being a chat"

"There's something about @OpenAI 's ChatGPT Atlas that makes it feel immediately native. The "cursor chat" the way you watch it "livestream" tasks in Agent mode it feels familiar almost immediately to me as a general user. In X hours I've had maybe a dozen moments already where I do something in Atlas and not for a second do I feel like I'm learning a new AI tool. It lives in my existing workflows with zero setup and zero friction. Ready for me to use existing habits and build new ones around it"
