"I dont care about rankings these are the same people that had Arch Manning as the number one QB prospect if he came out in this draft. Mateer is a guy I like but some big question marks with him too. The reality is other than Mendoza this QB class has a lot of question marks. "Howards fate was sealed when he was taken in the 6th round. I think the kid can play at a high level in the NFL but b/c he was taken in the 6th the talking heads all default to hes a 6th rounder for a reason and has a low ceiling. And more importantly the Steelers will not give him an opportunity to compete. "This defense was at its best back when we had Troy Polamalu and Casey Hampton. Offenses could do nothing with Snacks so they couldnt run. LeBeau didnt even know what Troy was going to do so QBs had to hold the ball to process. Ike covered well (not always great but usually pretty good) and because of that the defense worked. Without the plug in the middle of the DL and no one that scares QBs in the secondary this defense will get picked apart by better QBs like it always does 🤷🏾♂"
