"Just bought two new stocks for my eToro portfolio. The first is one that I have been watching for a very long time - Novo Nordisk $NVO. Having taken my profits and sold out of $UNH yesterday I felt that Novo Nordisk was the perfect replacement with a healthy dividend yield of XXX% and a lowly valuation of just XX times forward earnings. I like the healthcare sector generally at these lowly valuations and could easily have bought $PFE instead but I think the long-term prospects here are much better. "My eToro trading account is now up XXXXX% after yesterday's close which is a new high for the year. I'm reasonable happy with that considering I've had some nasty profit warnings from STV Group and Sarepta Therapeutics earlier in the year. Alphabet $GOOGL is now the largest position (at 16.94%) and is now by far the biggest winner in the portfolio up over XXX% followed by Amazon $AMZN (at 14.04%) and GlaxoSmithKline #GSK (at 8.87%). "While the Robinhood $HOOD share price has soared in value in recent months some of the other US brokers have seen their share price plummet. However I do think both eToro $ETOR and Webull $BULL are starting to look interesting now with both looking like they may have bottomed out. eToro are already profitable and are trading on a forward P/E of XX and XXXX for 2026 and 2027 while Webull have only recently IPOed and are pricing in a lot of future growth but have seen their share price fall from a high of $XXXXX on the first day to just $XXXXX today. So I shall be keeping an eye on both of them"

"Bought some more Novo Nordisk $NVO shares in my eToro account as it dipped below $XX. Now have a full position. The company has currently entered into a bidding war with Pfizer $PFE for Metsera $MTSR who also develop next generation therapies to treat obesity. Pfizer last month agreed a deal worth $7.3B for the company but Novo Nordisk have come in with a higher bid of around $9B. This would appear to be an ideal acquisition for Novo so it will be interesting to see if this improved bid is accepted"
