"A fool ascribes favourable outcomes to luck rather than character. It's easier to dismiss someone's success as luck than to dig deep into the beliefs that lead to desirable outcomes. Luck is not repeatable. But character can be molded. Powerful thoughts adopted as your own. If you believe that a man's success is a result of some deeply held beliefs that you too can adopt then envy dissolves and a path appears. Envy is an enemy of growth. Curiosity is an accelerant. Something I will teach my son. Sauna"

"Hey so the Japanese bond yields are still going parabolic. European XX and XX year yields are breaking out to new XX year highs too. Loads of people still "waiting for rates to come down" before selling homes refinancing loans etc. And there's a whole bunch of private equity and credit funds that are praying for a lower XX year yield too before they go boom .But what if the rates aren't coming down Remember: The Fed does not control the long end. Sure a dovish Fed chair can lower short term rates to zero. But that may very well send the XX year higher due to inflation concerns and perceived"

"Bitcoin is down XX% this year in Swiss Francs. This partially explains my bearishness. Dollar weakness disguised as financial gains aren't fooling me. Having said that I'm done with bearish posts. I don't like focusing on negative / pessimistic things. It's lame. And at this point it doesn't serve any purpose. Everyone should have already made their plan for the coming year. Mine includes giving Stack Jr. a Christmas to remember teaching him how to ski prepping for baby #2 tennis golf lifting heavy sandbags daily sauna and lots of skiing. Also gonna build some more stuff. Bear market or bull"

"A fit body is more of a flex than any watch or car you could buy. You cannot buy a wide back with the swipe of a card. Sure Ozempic can make anyone less of a meatball but it won't make them look physically capable. That requires hard effort and consistency over years. No shortcuts. No faking it. When you get money falling into perma-sloth becomes a real option. But a strong character intuitively understands that luxury should be the dessert not the whole meal. Bezos understood this. That's why he went gorilla mode and got jacked out of his gourd even though he was the richest man in the"

"They have already cut rates and it didn't bring the long end of the curve down. The Fed can only set the short term rate. They don't directly control the XX year yield for example. And unfortunately things like mortgages business loans etc. are based on those longer term rates. That's why the Fed cutting rates doesn't necessarily bring down mortgages. The free market sets the long term yields until the Fed caves and just starts buying long bonds to suppress yields directly. OR they can allow a true recession and hope that it scares enough investors into bonds and brings yields down that way."

"Ignore the accounts that said there was no reason for being bearish in the past few weeks. Their mental models were incorrect. We will likely bounce at some point very soon as things have probably gotten a little exaggerated in the short term. But trying to time an exact bottom is an ego thing. It's how you end up bull trapped. As I said when we broke the XX week moving average. Last time that happened it took two years until we reclaimed that price again. So mentally prepare for that. If we are going to resume the bull run. We have a long way to go before the chart inspires confidence. So"

"I didn't sell on Friday. My sales are closer to an average of $113K this year (you can read my September update below) "Personally I've already taken enough out of the market so that I will not be disappointed if we fall from here into a traditional bear market." Very happy with my strategy for now but I'm happy to rebuy at a profit if we close above the XX week moving average with great volume. Leaning bearish until then. But most importantly remember that my situation is likely different than yours. Personal finance is personal"

"Strong Franc tariffs and bad european economy are not great for Switzerland. A lot of young people I know can't get a job. Economy in contraction. Switzerland has enormously high private debt levels so long term yields cannot be allowed to rise otherwise. Very cheap housing on the way for people with cash & no debt. Tricky situation"

"I've taken a significant position in Bakkt $BKKT I started accumulating shares when I heard that @mikealfred joined the board. And I've been buying since then. They are clearly cooking something big. I'm speculating here. But what if they become the Visa for the AI age Let's connect some dots: They are building payments infrastructure at the intersection of Bitcoin stablecoins tokenized assets and AI. Mike has hinted at big things on the way. But precise details of their vision are a bit hazy for now. But if I had to guess I'd say they're building towards providing payments infrastructure for"

"What's your investor mandate Mine is to provide my family with a high quality of life in the short term while building wealth in the long term. It requires balance. But most of all it requires independent thinking specific to my situation. You need to do the same. Especially now. We are at the part of the market cycle where permabulls will call you an idiot for selling while permabears yell that the end is near. But amidst the noise you need to remember that everyone's situation is different. The permabull with $XX million in T Bills is in a different situation than someone with six figures"

"Yes I bought MSTR at the wrong time. I thought it would break up after consolidating but it broke down instead. This is partially why I became more cautious on BTC because MSTR tends to lead. BAKKT went up XX% the day I posted about it. That's an obvious indication that it's a volatile equity. But my entire post was a long term thesis that would take years to implement. I wrote in bold letters "I'm speculating here." Let's see where Bakkt is at in a few years. But the bottom line is I'm just a human I make mistakes. Show me an investor that is right XXX% of the time. There isn't one. That's"

"OK release the virus. Lock them in their homes. Now turbo-print. Give them 100x leverage. Tell them it's safe to go outside but only to protest. Ok now raise rates and send it all to zero. Tell them they have to take a shot to keep their job. Offer them hamburgers. Alright let's inflate it again with obscene deficit spending. OK now wipe out all their jobs with AI. Don't print this time. Wait until they all learn plumbing. Ok now send the humanoids"

"I bought gold in March 2022 when it was $1900 / oz I wanted a physical hedge for my digital Bitcoin. But I always assumed I'd use my gold bars as paper weights one day. So it is absolutely insane to me that gold has outperformed Bitcoin by XX% since March 2022 despite gold having a 10x larger market cap. And it's done it with far less volatility. What's the takeaway The sovereign bid for gold is absolutely massive. Far too big to ignore. Sovereigns are bidding so hard that gold is outperforming Nasdaq despite the AI boom. Countries are buying gold by the ton because they know exactly how"

"Certain things are a waste of money. But certain items pay dividends that ultimately outperform the best financial investments. Sauna is one of them. - Clears your mind - Sweat out the garbage - Sleep like a rock The sauna is one place where you're forced to sit alone with your thoughts; no devices. Streaming inspiration from the heavens as sweat pours down your face. XX% reduction in all-cause mortality in some studies. Equivalent to quitting smoking. Buy a sauna. Two rounds a day. Live longer and better. This is financial advice"

"Returns since January 2000: Gold: +1340% S&P 500: +639% Nasdaq: +552% TLT (bonds): +141% Dollar vs. Swiss Franc: -XX% XX years of American ingenuity financialization and passive equity investing - and gold still outperforms equity indexes by more than double. Gold could retrace the majority of this latest move and long term investors would still be ahead. But let's not forget that retail isn't driving this move. Central Banks are. Just for fun. Can you imagine what a steady central bank bid would do to finite Bitcoin They are clearly prioritizing gold accumulation at this point. But the Czech"

"We're living through a once-in-a-lifetime financial event. A global monetary reset. People will tell you everything is fine but if you look closely you can see the wheels flying off the fiat clown car in real time. Most people will only accept this reality after the fact. But the central planners clearly see the writing on the wall. That's why they are exit scamming into gold. Central Banks are stacking bullion hand over fist converting fiat promises into hard money as quickly as they can. To understand what's happening you need to look at Japan. They spent years suppressing their bond yields"

"Understanding incentives will help you see the future. Inflation goes up: Flood them with cheap labor from entirely different cultures otherwise the bond market implodes. AI & Robotics threaten mass unemployment & deflation: Nothing a good old fashioned world war can't fix. Keep your head on a swivel folks. Proactive is better than reactive"

"Tell me another kind of private property that you can take with you anywhere in the world without any third party permission and without anyone noticing (you can only shove so many gold bars up your ass) Private property that can be bought and sold in tiny amounts 24/7 and has a finite supply. Finite liquid sovereign private property is pretty useful"
