So the Waves legendary could easily be a Serpent. This specifically connects to Garuda who is in eternal conflict with Naga serpents. The national bird of Indonesia is the Javanese Hawk-Eagle which is the irl eagle that represents Garuda- so the Winds legendary could easily be inspired by this eagle.
