"Seeing a lot of Bitcoin FUD from Zcash community because it's fully transparent and has minimal/no privacy guarantees. I would argue that this was a necessary stepping stone in the evolution of crypto. If Bitcoin adopted ZK tech from the early years the lack of full public auditability might have prevented institutions from being willing/able to adopt. Now that crypto and stablecoins are mainstream (battle tested over 10-15 years with no inflation bugs) there is more trust in moving to shielded pools. Fun fact. There was once a bug in the Zcash community where inflation could have been"
