Been saying it since Nov 2024: volatility will be driven down Saylor will not be able to arbitrage the vol of MSTR to BTC via issuance of cheap preferreds which means his funding costs will rise. "QE increases bank reserves. Which is not the same as M2 at all. You would need the borrowing linkage. QE also steepens the curve so no it does not help long rates that much if at all. Numerous studies have confirmed this by the Fed themselves inter alia. And the Fed has been doing QT for years now. Has M2 gone down No. Have asset prices been sensitive to the short term drop in M2 from 2022 to 2024 No. Are they higher than they were when long term rates were near XXX% Yes. You can't pick just the data points that suit and disregard all others"
