"They didn't issue any warrants. They issued calls that they wrote themselves. It is cat shit wrapped in dog shit and presented to you as $GME warrants. You cannot sell it to anybody but to the broker who wrote it. You also have to declare its value (on Oct 7) as ordinary income on your 2025 tax filing and pay marginal tax on it"

"If your broker gave you anything other than real $GME WS warrants that you can trade on exchanges DRS and/or exercise: You have to declare it as ordinary income to the IRS and pay tax on the value of it. You may not claim it was a dividend on your tax return as the IRS may see it as tax evasion and fine you"

"$GME Every DRS'd warrant reduces the exercisable warrant float under DTCC control. If the entire warrant float is at ComputerShare DTCC-controlled "warrants" become IOUs and their owners cannot exercise them as GameStop may then only honor warrants at ComputerShare. IOU issuers must then buy back IOUs or purchase genuine warrants for clients wanting to exercise. The way to expose the fraud is to DRS every single warrant owned by retail. Not advice just my opinion"

"I have X ComputerShare accounts with $GME shares. Yes I received real warrants from ComputerShare. Dealing with them to get access my accounts was an absolute nightmare. I had to pay $XX for a courier letter for each account. The couriers even lost one letter and they had to send it again. Trying to merge the X accounts into X account is impossible I eventually just gave up"

"I see this is still the same except that you can now enter buy and sell orders. In my opinion: It seems as if IBKR turned themselves into a mini DTCC and distributed their own options instead of $GME warrants. The value is probably linked to the $GME warrants trading on the exchanges. I would hope that every option is backed by a genuine $GME warrant however I sincerely doubt that it is. You cannot find these options in the options data of the exchanges so they probably created their own little exchange off exchange. If this is so it means you can only buy them from IBKR or sell them to IBKR"

"$GME Why would a broker give calls to its clients holding $GME instead of warrants Because: X. it didn't receive enough warrants to distribute to all $GME holders and lenders. X. It can exercise the warrants to close its own naked short positions without affecting the share price. X. It costs nothing to write the calls. X. The calls may expire worthless then it saved tons of cash. X. If investors buy more of the calls it can write an unlimited amount without putting any buy pressure on the warrants price. There is one way to expose them. DRS all calls forcing them to convert it to warrants."

"Thanks to @ibuyious for showing me that you can DRS the calls that @IBKR issued to withdraw real $GME WS warrants from Cede & Co and transfer it to ComputerShare where it is registered in your own name. Pity @IBKR didn't distribute $GME WS ticker that we could trade on the exchanges see our orders in the order book and our transactions on the tick by tick. Why do they have to internalize everything"

"$GME What did your broker distribute to you Please also give the broker name: A) Genuine $GME WS warrants that you can trade on exchanges DRS or exercise. B) Cat shit wrapped in dog shit and presented as $GME warrants that you can only trade with that broker. Give the answer like this: B - @IBKR"

"$GME took quite a hammering from the manipulators since the dividend record date. We know that they don't have enough warrants for everybody who should get warrants hence the fake warrant distribution. The way to expose them is to DRS every single warrant owned by retail forcing them to convert those fake warrants into genuine warrants that can be exercised. Not advice just my opinion"

"$GME All demand volume removed from the exchanges again by internalization and payment for order flow front running sell orders on the exchanges. Then they have the audacity to say they need to have internalization and payment for order flow to provide liquidity"

"$GME I think the warrants will be distributed after close and they'll use the closing price to determine the payment in lieu amount which will then be paid at the same time with the price bouncing immediately afterwards before market opens tomorrow. If I had puts i'd sell them now and buy calls. Not advice just my opinion. I don't have any options and I'm not planning to buy or sell any"

"Put yourself in their shoes: In Jan 2021 GameStop was going to default on its debt goes bankrupt gets liquidated and delisted. You can sell as many shorts as you like because: Once the company is bankrupt you don't have to return any shares to lenders. You keep all the money from the sales TAX FREE. Then disaster they price shoot to high heavens margin calls come in left right and center. Some had to be bailed out by the market maker otherwise everybody owning short positions will go under. Then a miracle happens: The DTCC waives margin calls and the buy buttons are removed. What do you do"

"I think they need to report it to the SEC first. If the SEC's decision is unfavorable they can challenge the decision in court. If the SEC/court's decision is favorable there should be remedial action by the brokers. That action must put their clients in the best position they could have been had the substitution not happen"

"They don't have to be exercised. Only the warrant float needs to be DRSd then all the remaining "warrants" in brokerage accounts are worthless fakes. GameStop can only exercise warrants that are at ComputerShare. Once the float is DRSd Cede & Co's account at ComputerShare (representing everything under DTCC control) will have ZERO warrants in it"

"$BYND OTC is hell bent on internalizing all buy demand and force sellers on the exchanges to drop their asking price. With a borrowing fee of XXX% I understand their dilemma: They're in the process of destroying another US company and must get it delisted at any cost or it may destroy them. Not advice just my opinion"

"$GME OTC effectively removed all the demand at $XXXXX from the exchanges front running sellers on the exchanges and forced them to lower their ask to $XXXXX and below. Thus manipulating the NBBO lower so they're allowed to fill orders off exchange at the lower NBBO prices. I must give credit to the developers of the algo. They've done a great job at creating an algo that can manipulate any ticker at high speed. How legal it is I don't know however in my mind it proves that it was done with intent to defraud investors and listed companies. Not advice just my opinion"

"$GME Another thing brokers achieve by issuing calls instead of warrants to their clients if that they don't publish borrowing fees of warrants as all trades of the calls are managed and controlled off exchange not affecting the warrants price at all. I think the responsible thing to do would be to hedge those calls with warrants however I sincerely doubt that it is done. Not advice just my opinion"

"I am in the process of evaluating brokers to move my account to a safer broker. After @IBKR didn't distribute $GME warrants to investors. It indicated to me that they may have exposed themselves to infinite risk on $GME short positions. I don't want to risk my investment should $GME squeeze hence I decided it's time to move. So far @CharlesSchwab was the top choice and now I see this. Are there any honest brokers left in the market who are not risking their client's investments for their own gain while charging those clients commission on every transaction as well"

"$GME closing down XXXX% after another day of heavy manipulation through internalization and payment for order flow. They've borrowed XXX million shares to deliver naked shorts sold last Friday by the market maker and/or by other short sellers yesterday. There are now only X million shares left to borrow and the borrowing fee increased. The warrants poses a serious threat to those who thought they can replace them with calls. Once the warrants float is DRS'd their clients will all be bag holders of non-exercisable IOUs which they'll either have to buy back or substitute with genuine warrants"
