"Clearly a big seller of $IREN was actively working a sell order of tens of millions of shares all day today and picked up pace toward close which suggests they had a number to hit and did in fact hit it. I think the seller was likely the issuer of the covered call for the earlier notes that are being called. They likely had a hedge on and needed to close it out suddenly (retirement of old notes was announced yesterday). They could have also wanted to reduce their liability on the written call by push stock price down. Other culprits could be note holders locking in profits but most likely it"
