"4/ Blockchain and data protection regulation havent really mixed so far. Why because users had to post everything publicly. this is changing. with all the renewed interest in privacy decentralization wont keep you safe here. it probably makes it worse as data is distributed to many different entities"

"4/ Projects like @arc @succinctlabs @HibachiXYZ @SecretNetwork and @OasisProtocol are all leveraging TEEs for privacy. curious how you handle compliance for validators today and how you think about this trade-off going forward. also curious to hear @AutomataNetworks view here. feels like an important discussion for everyone working on privacy infra"

"@bgmshana @arc @SuccinctLabs @SecretNetwork @OasisProtocol @AutomataNetwork @PhalaNetwork you're talking about b2c teams that deal with sensitive data and using TEEs as separation from infra/service provider right and your point is that this will allow them more easily to move away from on-prem without too much compliance worry and cheaper operational costs"

"3/ Not sure if validator know that they then need to be GDPR compliant (or something similar). imo this would for example apply to stablecoin payment that solve opt-in privacy with TEEs or DEX that outsource ZK proving to proof markets"

"Were about XX years late to the first wave of MPC networks. Enigma and others already tried to make MPC a decentralized compute layer back in 2015. Whats different this time Theres real demand from identity and financial (stablecoin) use cases We dont weaken decentraliztion bc we can use SNARKs to make encrypted compute verifiable And we go the last mile: hardcore engineering for performance and real customers (this one is ignored to often by infra teams)"
