"agreed I think the key here is that it isn't the cuts themselves that are bearish it's that the cuts are a symptom of a slowing economy the question is with AI is this time different IMO: no because AI directly leads to unemployment. It will create jobs in years but it'll lead to layoffs in weeks and months- that gap is our recession"

"Did anyone actually have issues with Robinhood outside of alt-coins Im seeing a ton of anger but this strikes me as a systemic issue with the crypto (and especially alt-coin) markets. Unlike stocks there are no market makers in altcoin markets. No one is obligated to take your trade on the other side and if theres no buyers (or no sellers) you could just genuinely be screwed. Alt-coins have much less actual liquidity than people realize. This should probably be a wake up call that investing in fartcoin isnt the same as buying shares of a quality profitable company.
