"it s actually not accurate at all that they ve raised funds from a16z or Initialized. the former CreatorDAO - which has since been renamed District - is the one that raised money from those investors. then District helped launch (and also funded at some level) the new CreatorDAO you re referring to and due to a prior agreement they gave a free allocation to a16z and Initialized. don t ask me why they launched a project with their previous name after their rebrand. probably to mislead people. the only real raise the current CreatorDAO has done is around 220eth. i did this DD about a month ago"
