"Yes that's true. It took Tesla about XX years to make money and longer to stabilize. They also had to start more or less from scratch before battery tech was very good. Rivian is on year XX and while their burn rate is slowing to about half a billion per quarter they have almost 6B of debt and about 8B in the bank. Auto sales are slow right now and they aren't talking about delivering the R3 for at least a year Is that right It seems like it will take them at least another year after release to scale to profitability. I would love to see them succeed but it's looking shaky at best. 🤞"
