"So dealers hedge. If a resistance level breaks they move risk out to the next closest level. Today the 6595/6700 level did break. But market ran right into the 1.5x Intraday Daily Tails and is stalling because VIX is also at its Daily 1's as is $SPX. $NQ is off by itself in the middle of its Daily Range without moving. "This is different. The dealers held market back all year slow walked it. At first they didn't want to lose money from REPO market. When that was exposed REPO drained back into bonds and equities and crypto. So I too was waiting for the correction and we just didn't get it. We are back above the X Month X on ES. Dealer already moved risk out once hedging it. The IV term structure has now shifted lower. I'm not so sure they are hedging any more.
