"Putting on my tinfoil hat: - Lots of talk of liquidity failures the week before XRP ETF are supposed to launch. - Lots of talk about how a centralized exchange (Binance) triggered it all. - XRPL is liquidity infrastructure. - XRP needs a high price to be a liquidity bridge (higher price the more load the bridge can carry). - The XRPL DEX was built to enable exchanges like Binance to use liquidity from other pools (exchanges) to prevent these types of breakdowns. Unless someone wants the system to stay as it is this all just looks like an AMAZING story that brokers will sell to their clients"

"Paradigm shifts often cant be seen by those who are incentivized to not see it coming. The story of Ripple and XRP is starting to rhyme with some great historical examples. - Western Union missed out on the Telephone. - Excite missed out on Google. - Kodak missed out on Digital Photography (Canon & Sony ran with tech Kodak invented). - Blockbuster missed out on Netflix. - Nokia missed out on Android. History shows us that incumbents who ignore potential new partnerships during times of change end up as Cautionary Cliffs Notes in the history books. In every case above the players of the new"

"Not the IC. The internet computer puts independently owned and operated data centers (distributed all over the world) back in competition with the large centralized players"

"The internet computer didnt stop working. The power of having decentralized infrastructure on display here Internet Computer breathes new life into the original idea of independently owned and operated data centers being the backbone of the version of the internet. The upgrade from cyber space to cypher space is already here (its just not well publicized - yet)"

"The workloads that other blockchains do can be implemented on the IC. The BOB project (Blockchain on Blockchain) demonstrated this fact VERY clearly for all the world to see. The IC is the version of the internet we all signed up for (but didn't know was possible). I don't hold any BOB so I'm not shilling BOB but everyone should be aware that this has happened. See a variant of the BTC mining algo at work over here at"

"Are you paying attention yet The IC (Internet Computer / ICP) is the internet without boundaries or controls set in place by Powerful Centralized Actors. - If you want the internet to be free (as in freedom not free beer) the you probably want ICP to be a success. - If you want money to be free then you probably want ICP to be a success. - If you want compute to be free then you definitely want ICP to be a RAGING success This is your generation's REVOLUTION: - No violence required. - No time wasting protests required. - No gory beheadings required. - No impotent voting required. All that is"

"I was told by so many that I was an idiot for accumulating silver (since $X USD) but just kept doing it for decades (gold too at $XXX USD). In any market (where currencies we use daily are being printed) time persistence and faith (in the math) is how you win. Have to figure out ways to: - Live on less currency than you make (and invest the difference) - Reduce risk every chance it shows up - HODL To ride the wave of increasing in buying power that printing currency gives to settlement assets this is really the only way (its how the wealthiest of us do it)"

"@Jorcik_Nft @ChrisYost_ @kristoferlund Would be amazing if the protocols were just implemented on the IC. If for no other reason decentralizing the parts of their dApps (usually frontend UI) that rely on centralized hosting"
