"Not sure I agree with this. Rarely have I seen p@l performance improve as they get older. I would guess there is little correlation between alpha generation and experience with data to support that. The challenge these days is that all the risk models are backward looking and the factors constantly change. Momentum XX months ago was probably large cap quality. Now momentum is high res vol shvtcos. No model protects the big firms during periods of deleverage like we have seen the last X weeks"

Buddy was a portfolio manager at Point72 working out of the Connecticut office and Steve Cohen turned around and asked him and few other PMs "who they liked into the open." I have a sales guy and will probably start paying for a manufacturing lead generation service in a few weeks while I myself will am compiling a list of leads to cold call and email.
