"Agree there is massive upside with CD. Maintenance clears all hurdles for safety (which is important in CD too). We laugh it off but I'm sure $ABBV mentioning those safety issues to the public gives pause to other BP buyers. Biz dev teams don't want to risk embarrassment their jobs and their reputation if somehow someway the headaches and heart stuff become an actual issue AFTER paying $15-17B for an asset when they can just wait a couple months and pay $17-19B instead. That would be my explanation anyway"
