They associate value investing to mean only investing in companies trading below intrinsic value. I like to find VALUE in growth companies as well. Buffet deviated from Graham. New day value investors will differ from Buffet. $BLDR $SNAP $UBER are companies based on traditional value investing. $IONQ $JOBY $TSLA are companies I believe will create significant VALUE in the future. "Didnt mention valuations in my post. Completely can understand why people think valuations are stretched on those two names. My cost basis is very low on both. There are two types of companies. One where the stock price grows into its intrinsic value (value investing for example) and the second where the intrinsic value grows into the stock price (I.e the market cap). Both are leaders in industries that are emerging with the TAM for both to grow extremely fast over the next X to XX years"
