"Minting $DJED is not taking a leveraged position. DJED is not a collateralised debt position (CDP) protocol like MakerDAO Liquity or AAVE's GHO. The DJED stablecoin is a algorithmic stablecoin (not a CDP stablecoin) which can be minted and burned via the DJED protocol which acts like an exchange rather than a CDP protocol. When you mint DJED you lose exposure to $ADA as it leaves your ownership and gets pooled in the protocol. Minting $SHEN DJED's reserve coin via the DJED protocol is what allows a user to gain access to leveraged exposure"
