The UN Development Programme (UNDP) and partners are highlighting the importance of rural women in sustainable development, with initiatives supporting women farmers in Brazil, Yemen, and South Africa. Efforts are also being made to address multidimensional poverty, with XXX billion people living in poverty and many exposed to climate hazards.
