"I think everyone is a bit off base with these net new ARR acceleration hopes ($CRM $HUBS etc.) Here is a simple example where a subscription business landing the same new ARR each quarter is growing XX% yy. Then new ARR bumps up to XX% yy growth. Sub revenue takes X quarter to accelerate from wait for it XX% to 18%. And then it sustains 18%. If the math were more exciting management teams would be more explicit about the acceleration. It's just unlikely $HUBS is going back to XX% rev growth (would need AI monetization to take off etc.)"

"$HUBS reported a fine quarter but below expectations of an acceleration. Story is moving sideways. Decent SaaS product cycle story but AI impact unclear. Also unclear if this is a great business. Numbers likely move higher but also seems unlikely company is able to accelerate. Risk / reward seems ok. Downside of -XX% from AH to 5x street 2026 revs which is 25x FCF / 30x PF PE. Upside of XX% from AH to 7x my 2026 revs which is 38x FCF / 24x earnings power. XX% on my 2027 estimates. But maybe those multiples are too rich. Quarter Sub revenue of 792m grew XX% yy cc which was consistent w/ Q1 and"

"Databricks held a webinar on agentic AI with X large enterprise CIOs / AI specialists. My punchline takeaway is that agentic AI is very early and very difficult to implement. This was an opportunity for these customers to boast about their AI progress and no one could cite a tangible example or even an initiative. Highlights -Meeting kicked off with Tell me what AI application you are most excited about and the response were Waymo and inbox cleanup. Really Not a single internal corporate example to highlight -Databricks employee was great / honest. Comments suggested Agentic AI is in the"

"$CRM is acquiring $INFA for $8b. I'm old enough to remember a couple decades ago when INFA blew up several quarters in a row after it failed to expand beyond data plumbing into master data management. Why is CRM buying it I have no clue and will take the under on whatever rationale they put forward tomorrow. $8b is X% of CRM market cap so nothing to get too fussed about - particularly since the stock's multiple is where it is for this sort of muddled M&A thinking. Doesn't move numbers too much - threw in contribution beginning next year and not assuming much in the way of synergies"

"3P Contact worked at $INFA for X years through 8/24. Managed strategic relationships w/ $SNOW Databricks (DB) and $MDB. Pretty mixed takeaways on INFA acquisition. Positive is that INFA has a 5k install base in the enterprise where perhaps CRM can deliver a more integrated product to steer some workloads to their Data Cloud. Flipside is these large companies all use CRM as a source of data and use INFA to pipe the data into SNOW / DB so why change whats working Highlights -Company is pretty well run. -INFA product portfolio consists of ETL data catalog master data management data quality and"

"$WDAY put up an ok qtr and offered slightly weak guidance for the forward year. Story is fine but just not exciting in an AI world. Numbers are fine beatable on margin but no real room for meaningful revisions. Risk / reward is pretty decent. Downside of -XX% to 15x street CY2026 FCF which equates to 4.5x sales and 15x P/E (PF). Would note stock here trades at 16x CY2026 earnings power if you believe this company can generate XX% GAAP OM over time (will be just XX% this year). Upside of XX% to 20x my CY2027 FCF which equates to 39x GAAP EPS and 23x taxed earnings power. Attaining this would"

"$ABNB reported a punkish quarter. Seems like truth here is core property rental business is now mature. Room / experience nights added each year have declined from 93m in 2022 to 55m in 2023 to 43m in 2024 to 41m in 2025. Not good. Furthermore competition with $BKNG is increasing as they have nearly as much supply (though more European focused) and are growing XX% yy. The team obviously isn't content with what will be single digit growth soon and so the investments begin. They already are investing in experiences / services (which seem fine but not particularly differentiated). It's your"

"$CRM quarter was fine some good some bad. Story is moving sideways for now as market waits to see whether AI is a headwind or tailwind or transition. Numbers moving sideways to slightly up. More room for favorable revisions on the bottom line. Risk / reward pretty asymmetric. Downside of X% to 15x street CY2026 FCF. We all know every stock has downside of at least XX% regardless of how cheap it is so lets just go with XX% downside. Upside of XX% to 20x my CY2027 FCF which is 29x GAAP EPS 28x GAAP EPS excluding amortization and 23x see-through EPS assuming business can achieve XX% GAAP OM."

"$CRM put up a strong defense of their AI momentum in a post-earnings-call presentation. Would recommend the company continue showcasing senior mgmt. ahead of CEO was just a lot more credible information presented by heads of sales / engineering. Highlights -Agentic AI product has taken time to find product market fit but started to get there in Q2 and felt real in Q3 -Customers had to try doing it on their own before realizing that 1) AI not capable of replacing people and 2) building AI outside of the system of workflows made things difficult -Better to realize that AI supplements people and"

"A thought on $CRM related to AI. Let's fast-forward to that point in the future where sales AI agents work perfectly. It's Monday. Every CEO on the planet comes into work and tells the AI to go approach every viable customer on the planet this morning and pitch them. So the AI figures out the list buys some online ads to hit the targets with messages sends customized emails and places calls / leaves voice mails. It's now Monday lunchtime. Now what Every buyer is overwhelmed by junk emails and just deletes them all. Maybe SPAM filters already now have AI versions to catch them. Or maybe people"

"Field work suggests CTV advertising spend is just booming. $MNTN focuses on bringing small / mid-sized advertisers into the fold via its leading self-serve platform and sits outside the fray of $AMZN vs $TTD (who both focus on very large advertising clients). The benefit of going after the long-tail is clients are sticky and generally less price sensitive - similar to Stripe vs Adyen (take rates substantially higher) GOOGL / AMZN long-tails etc. Flipside is each client is much smaller so just hard to get the explosive growth at scale that is possible from winning large clients / expanding"

"Check w/ $NOW Platinum Partner as fine. -Customers are stuck on $NOW not leaving anytime soon. -GenAI will be big needle mover as customers want the incremental functional / productivity enhancements. Many waiting to see how MoveWorks is integrated as that is a superior product just need deal to close / roadmap to solidify / customers to understand how it will all work together. -Competition w/ $CRM is fine. $NOW able to win some modules here and there but no chance of displacing $CRM. -$NOW is expensive so some customers trying to rationalize less used modules to free up budget for new"

"I'm generally pretty unemotional about investing - but there isn't a company whose failure I root more for than $RBLX. The games are complete garbage and super addictive for kids via cheap dopamine-inducing tricks. It's the equivalent of kids playing slot machines around a bunch of other kids and the occasional pedophile. Furthermore the company couldn't care less about safety and prioritizes their own dumb interests in insane ways. Case in point they recently released a feature where kids can verify their own age via facial recognition. Then if the kids can pass off being older than they are"
