"Indeed. It seems that a lot of folks who are dunking on Bp. Sanborn for this are not providing ANY theological reasons for why they think Our Lord laughed during His earthly life. It reminds me of Catholics who just can't imagine heaven without pets. It's all driven by emotion. How about folks offer something more substantive than 'I just can't imagine Jesus not cracking up over something with 1st century Jews during his life on earth.' I haven't studied this issue but neither have any of you so it may be best to not push back until you've researched it in depth"
