And I am usually buying them because the chart of the specific stock I think is going to roll over I'm not looking for a market crash. As the stock goes up I may start to close the short end for profits and ride the long end then or sometimes if the stock makes a pretty good down move over a couple of days I'll rewrite the short at a lower strike than prior and even double it up.
