"I left twice year in Costa Rica few years in London but both times I always intended coming back. Both times I left it was to both escape a rough home situation combined with a need to reinvent or reconstruct myself. Those years are probably the most important consequential I ever had. More personal growth in a month abroad than in a year here in the States. Yet without the ability to do proper valuable paid work overseas those experiences felt like interludes not reality.
